Chandler Auto Repair

Not going to lie I'm not the type to do this, but I feel they def. took advantage of me BIG TIME. For a thermostat, spark plugs (4 cyclinder) and spark plug wires total parts of $115 or so....and guess what the labor was? a whopping $350! I have changed a thermostat and wires before and I know what it entails, reason I had them do it was b/c i just didn't have the time...I did not expect to be taken advantage of like this. Totally unwarranted. Needless to say I don't think I will be doing business there again.

I finally found a repair shop that i can trust!! These guys have always done excellent work on my vehicles. As long as they're open, I will never go anywhere else. I always feel like i just got scammed when I leave other repair shops. But not at Desert Car Care!! They take the time to explain to me exactly what needs to be fixed. They even let me know if something doesn't need to be fixed right away, instead of giving me some sales bullish*t like the other guys, just to get a few more bucks out of me. If anyone asks, I always tell them to check with Desert Car Care first! Thanks Desert Car Care!! -Customer for Life

I live in Maricopa where it is hard to find good car service, so it is well worth the drive to Chandler to Desert Car Care, where Brian and the Service Techs are very helpful and curious. It has always been a good experience, I would highly recommend them and give them a 5 star rating. They are our car care service of choose.

Great experiences here! I have taken my vehicles to Desert Car Care for over 3 years and have had quality service every time I stop in. Their service advisors and technicians have the knowledge I deem to be crucial when running an automotive repair business. Truthful time estimates, fair and exceptionally reasonable labor costs, ASE certified master technicians, and personnel with the experience to diagnose accurately and truthfully unlike other shops around town. Honestly better than trying to repair your own vehicle in which you may THINK you know in and out! It gets frustrating when something goes wrong with your vehicle, but I have no frets knowing that I have a shop I can trust in the valley to get me back on the road again. Just bought a used vehicle, had it checked out by these guys as a second pair of eyes. So with this as my first visit I can't base my review on having anything repaired. However, I will be referring my friends here, at least in the short term. Everyone there was very professional, especially the guy at the counter. Turns out he was the owner. Still, this is good. He knew what he was talking about, and after he had one of his technicians lift the car, he brought me into the garage to show me any concerns he had of the vehicle underneath, as well as everything else once it was lowered. His tech that helped was also very knowledgeable. Maybe with the owner present it could have been just a show, but I doubt it. I could see there was a solid organizational model that everyone adhered to, all pointed to customer satisfaction, something that can't just be improvised on the spot. Overall, a good experience, the best I've had at a shop. Thank you.

I have been coming to Desert Cat Care since Frank opened the shop 10 years ago. They have serviced and repaired both my personal vehicles and my company vehicles in the past. Words can not even explain how awesome this place is, but here goes: The technicians are fantastic and go out of their way to say hi and explain anything I have questions about. Brian and Micky work the front, They are not simply just Car Care Specialists, they have become friends of mine. Their knowledge of automobiles is outstanding. When they are not quite sure of something, they research it until they know the answer. Frank has sponsored my Chandler National Little League teams every year for 6 years now. I have told countless people whose kids I have coached about Desert Car Care and more than a dozen of those players' parents have gone ahead and taken their cars in over the years. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM has called me to thank me for turning them on to Desert Car Care Chandler. These folks run the most honest, dedicated and responsible vehicle service center I have ever been associated with in my 55 years of life. I would freak if I ever had to use some place else! Owner rude on the phone and was not helpful. Called to ask how much they charge for a rear disk brake service and he replied he would not give prices over the phone. That we had to bring our car in for him to give us any pricing... Really? Everyone gives a basic starting price for brakes. This just shows you that this guy wants to get your car in there and hold you hostage. DO NOT TRUST THIS SHOP!

I am new to AZ and was very skeptical on who to take my cars to. I looked up automotive repair shops based on reviews and found this shop. I was really surprised by the great customer service, quickness of the repair, and their free diagnosis of the emissions issue I had. Other places I had called wanted a fee to pin point the problem. They called me first, told me the cause, and asked if I wanted to fix it. A BIG thanks to all the crew in Gilbert.
